Rodney was one of my best friends. We worked together and we played together. GIC Mixon Motorsport catches a lot of friction for poor performance but we did the best we could with very little to no sponsorship, worn out equipment, and just a handful of guys who had a passion for racing. We did everything from cleaning the toilets at the shop to build the cars to jumping the pit wall at the race. When other teams had hundreds of employees we averaged about five. It is really nice to see that fire suit. It sure does bring back some good memories.
