Susanville, California is the home of Truck Series legend Mike Skinner. While Skinner has raced in other series, with some degree of success, He will always be known as the man who won the 1995 Skoal Bandit Copper World Classic, which was the first race in the 1995 NASCAR SuperTruck Series. He would go on to win 8 of 20 races, and win the first Truck Series Championship driving a C-1500 version of Dale Earnhardt’s #3 GM Goodwrench Monte Carlo, and to say this scheme is less than perfect would be a lie.
